Detailed History
Born over 5000 years ago in the Dragon-Ruled lands of Meracydia, Ari belonged to one of the oldest iterations of what is now the Rava as a Huntress and Warden of Sophia. Managing to evade the Allagan Empire's soldiers for some time she was inevitably, like many others, taken as a slave for Emperor Xande and moved to Ilsbard. Forced into labor and unable to save her people, she fought and struggled and rebelled viciously; but the Allagans were cruel masters and had little issue beating her down. It was ultimately one of her rebellions that caused her to be brought into the Crystal Tower in chains, but rather than execution she suffered a worse fate: Amon's Experimentation.Over the course of months and even years she was physically, psychologically and aetherically warped through the usage of aetherochemical sciences and magic. Unlike some of her counterparts she maintained her physical appearance despite her mind and being slowly degrading to a near completely feral state. Forced into stasis within the Crystal Tower she was preserved through the fall of the Allagan Empire and onward, sealed from the world and locked in a state of constant dreams and nightmares. It wasn't until the Seventh Umbral Calamity, when the Tower was unearthed that her stasis chamber finally cracked and unleashed her into the world.Completely feral mentally and riddled with weakened muscles, her body proved too fragile to struggle when she was recovered by a portion of the teams entering the Tower and she transported back to Mor Dhona. Her recovery was greater than they anticipated and it took a large number of Alchemists and Conjurers to even make her able to walk with assistance. Time progressed and she was continuously treated by a dutiful team; but throughout she also received constant visitors from Noah, the Ironworks, and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.... all of the seeking to discover more about her and the Crystal Tower itself.After what felt like years Ari became able to function without assistance and even began communicating with help from her Echo Gifts. Against better judgement she joined the teams in exploring the Crystal Tower and even restored some of her lost memories roaming the whole of it; but alas eventually she moved on in order to see the world and what it had become. Still devoted to Sophia she tried to uncover what happened to her Goddess and her world but history was cruel, it took almost no time to figure out that everything and everyone was gone and that now a new Empire sought to carry on Allag's legacy.Taking on the life of a wandering adventurer and one of the many Warrior of Lights, she spent countless months and years pursing all manner of strange activities and universe-spanning events; but during her time she began building a new legacy for herself as well... a life of privateering. Recruited by the Admiral of Limsa Lominsa itself, Ari forged together a crew called the Salt-Sworn Furies and primarily sieged Garlean Naval Vessels and Trade Ships. Keen to battle and more so to hunt the Empire, the recent peace has begrudgingly been a downside- though it has lead to her sailing familiar oceans and seeking out long forgotten bounties.
